One Step Forward....Twenty Leaps Back

Having been away for SSSOOOOO long in the 'horse world' (meaning the online forums and stuff I like to check in on) - if it weren't for R.T. Fitch's writings, posts, etc. or the other friends on FB postings; I would be completely out of touch. For so very long, I have been silently reading about a 'rescue' gone bad in West Virginia. To most of you, I'm sure I don't even need to mention a name, and I choose not to. My heart was just heavy as more and more came out about this story. I had high hopes that it was just a big exaggerated mess.

It bewilders me how things can turn, or maybe the road was never on a curve, but a straight hi-way; with no road signs or speed limits. I must have been on the curb, waving at the traffic zooming by. That doesn't make sense? Well, this whole story doesn't make sense to me. What is weird, is that this person was one of the very FIRST people to offer her help in getting Meduna exposed when all the 3 Strikes stuff was happening. She took hits from people all over the place when she was trying to help 'warn' them about what was going on over there. She defended me whole heartily, and I defended her when people started bashing her about different things.

Then the day came when I became silent....I wanted to sit back and try and figure this out for myself. I DID NOT want to be like one of 'those people who knew nothing of Meduna, but defended him to the gills.' I always thought they were so stupid. I have not wanted to join those ranks, and be blind-sided on that curb. So I read the comments, and then I got busy at the ranch...and then the subject came up again when a friend on FB was mentioning needing to find places to take the horses that were being seized from that certain rescue. My heart fell again. I pushed it all to some distant corner in my brain, and kept doing the work here that needed to be done. Today I got on one of the forums, and it all surfaced again. This time I saw pictures.

I have no idea where things went wrong for her, or if they always were wrong and I didn't realize it, or if really bad circumstances happened and it was a sinking ship - but they did go wrong. I can't deny the pictures though, and I have to admit, that sort of thing doesn't just happen overnight. I just sort of hate thinking about it, to tell you the truth.

I do not like the term, 'he/she just got in over their head' - that's what I heard a lot of about Meduna. I found that hard to believe since people from back east confirmed that his history was long in contributing to the suffering of animals; and not just horses. So when someone claims to be a horse rescue, a sanctuary, whatever.... I do believe they 'should know better'. If you really care about the animals, and have their health, happiness, and best interest in the forefront; you don't just 'oops, have too many' - or 'oops, ran out of food' - or 'oops, no one would help'. Be real, we are supposed to be adults, making adult decisions. These are helpless animals. We know better.

Talk about living a sheltered life; I didn't know there was anything that existed called 'hoarding' until I started reading those forums...and now they have a T.V. show about hoarding. No, I have not tuned in yet; not sure I want to watch that. It's like there's some shows on Animal Planet that I hate to watch. If you have too low of blood pressure, it would be beneficial to watch.

In my rambling on, I'm just trying to figure out how people can let any of this happen? I'm probably referring more to 3 Strikes now, than anything. I think about the people who supported him; without wanting to know the truth. They must have been in it for their political or listener ratings reasons. So sad. Those people, you probably can't touch, because greed covers their heart.

The whole problem I see is this: there are many, many good rescues. Ones that know their limit on how many animals they can take in, according to accommodations, feed, money, etc. But when the media gets a hold of 'a rescue gone bad' - the forward progress is hurled backwards. Now the question is - just who are the good ones?...what if they don't really spend my donation for the horse's needs?...are they really a good rescue?.... on and on.

So naturally, the good rescues have to be hurt when news gets out about an animal seizure. Wish there was an easy answer. Not everyone can afford to drive/fly all over to visit the place and see if they are legit. I know first hand how an Internet web site can be falsified; and made to look fabulous; at the expense of the horses.

I just hope if you are a rescue place, and really in trouble for whatever reason; stop getting more horses! Stop breeding them, (or whatever animal it is) and get some help. I think it would be better if you are incapable of taking animals in - donate to a place that has the facilities needed. And I guess if you are a person that has only yourself in mind, anything anyone says to help isn't going to matter anyway....then you probably deserve what you get.

I realize, I have been told before I don't know what I'm talking about; as I'm not even involved in horse rescue.....but we do have cattle. We know our limitations of how many animals can be run on our land....and know about land management. We do know the difference in how animals eat.... and how that affects the land. The only 'rescue' animals I have are cats; but along with those and the cattle; there are of course dogs, our own cats, and horses.

If you choose to take care of animals, take care of them. If you can't - get help.
That's just my thoughts on a Saturday night.
And the Huskers did a fine job today!!

By the way..... God bless all you that fight for the helpless animals - for the horses - and that take care of them. I'm sure it seems a thankless job sometimes, I know it's hard work. What you do is amazing.

New Beginnings

We've (well - I should say, 'the guys' mostly)
have worked many hours...days......
in getting the land cleaned up and ready for cattle.
'The land' being the land that Greens purchased from Meduna.
I've said it before, but I don't think I can say it enough....
we are so fortunate to have Dan and Kylie as neighbors.
(and I'm not just saying that because our cows are on their land!)
And I'm also not just saying that just because Kylie is a fantastic cook....
and shares with us!!!!
We fixed some of the fence around the lake,
and changed other parts of it.
I'm driving the loader while Don pulls posts.
(He's way too trust-worthy of his driver....
but he didn't realize I was taking pictures at the same time)
Josh (driving) and Justin (unrolling new wire)
on the south side of the lake.
We spent an unbelievable amount of time just pulling wire out of the ground,
buried in the dirt. There were interior fences, they were just broken up
and on (in) the ground. We've rolled up scads of wire.
There really wasn't too much in the line of boundaries for the horses.
East side, west side; that was about it.
The guys were figuring out what could be fixed on the windmill.
Dan thought best to put in solar.
Windmills might be cool looking, but solar is the ticket.
Nothing like NOT having to hook pump-jacks up.
We're working towards getting more on our place;
it's just a matter of budgeting them in...one at a time.

Josh and Don on 4-wheelers moving our replacement heifers
on to Green's - the pasture they put the solar in.
The hail did not help the grass situation this year.
The grass on the hills is struggling to exist...
hail and hoppers don't help much.

Our heifers at the solar tank; the windmill is gone - but the water is flowing.

This stacker belonged to the Koopers. I sort of like thinking of times gone by, when Glen and Lucille lived here. I imagine Glen put up a lot of hay with this! And then he updated. You know, I'm pretty sure even when Don and I were first married, Glen would hook up the horses to help with the haying. I think he used them to feed, also. The coolest thing was all of his family helping during the summer in the hay field. Some cherished memories were made there.

Times change.

I can't say that I'm not glad they do. Makes our work a whole lot easier.
Makes our time more efficient; makes Don think we should be able to get more done!

The land to the south of us has a new beginning. People who care, and want to do right by the land. To fix it up and make it whole again. Our neighborhood is once again, filled with people who care, are kind, and want to be good neighbors. The whole lot of us!

Now we just have to find the time to all get together!

The Cross

Don and I were driving to town one day, when we noticed a huge cross, just on the left side of entrance to 3 Strikes. I mentioned to Don, "Is that supposed to mean he's religious, or something?" Keep in mind, this was right after he knew I was taking pictures, and we all know he didn't like that.
Don thought different. He noticed the barbed wire and the material tied on the cross, his speculation was that it was put up to keep the 'evil spirits of the Freibergers' away. Got a chuckle out of it anyway. When Meduna first moved here, he talked about the moon, what it all meant; etc. Mother Earth stuff. (Mother Earth is probably not too happy with him)
That was the end of that, until after the land went up for sale, the cross disappeared. I figured the Real Estate place might have suggested he take it down. Later, when I was checking fence lines and cattle, I found the cross on our side of the fence! The cross had been driven up the fence quite a distance, and thrown over. No, I take that back...he probably could not have thrown it over, he would have drug it under the fence and left it there. I told the kids about it, and said, "Throw it back over on his side." They did, that was the end of that. (Yeah, right)

Went to check things out again, and magically...the cross was back on our side! I wasn't thinking at the time; we should have taken it home. We didn't bother moving it for quite some time, until the digging of the autogate episode happened on July 3rd, 2009.
Justin and Josh, there aren't always crazy about me taking their picture, but I convinced them it was all for documentation. (This is a 'hurry up and take the dang picture' look). We decided to put the cross at his entrance (NOT IN THE WAY) the same day they had to re-dig the autogate, July 4.
If you notice the ground is a little trampled here? People like Mudna, R Field, Marlyn, Dena (is there Internet in jail, Dena?), etc. would say how bare the ground is. The 'Look, No Grass' as Field says. (What a joke) How about it's bare because our heifers were walking around it, checking it out? And when they say I don't know what I'm talking about... they have just stated their ignorance.

All this, and NO trespassing! How about that? Except, we noticed again, the cross was gone, to no surprise. Drove up the fence line, dang- he must have found a new place to put it. Do you think it's on our land? Do bears poop in woods?
Don said I better see if I can find it in the meadow without knocking too much grass down. I didn't have to go far to find it. Drove the 4-wheeler along the fence, there it was. And we were going into the meadow in a few days. (haying)
And because we were busy putting up hay, like we do every summer, we hadn't taken the time to get the cross. A couple days later, I went to show the kids where it was. We were just going to bring it home. Dang it. It was gone. My plan was to put it up on our side, with a sign posted on it, pointing to the south that read, "Killing Fields" but it didn't work out. Oh heck, Don would have told me it was a bad idea anyway.

Now Jason groupies, are you going to still tell me he's an angel? ....and he's just being picked on by those nasty, evil, Freibergers?
By the way, wouldn't this qualify for more trespassing, on Mudna's part? Do I seem a little miffed here? I just hope R Field, Mr. Twister radio man, and others see this. But I've been told, it wouldn't matter to them anyway.

After we found the cross in our meadow, and then it was gone....we could not find it again. So I decided to let his lawyer, Mr. Berry be aware of all this. Is this not the way things are done? Did I really care? I have included the fax I sent to Mr. Berry. The fax also included the pictures.
Fax to Mr. Berry:

July 30, 2009
To: Berry Law Firm ATTN: John S. Berry Jr.

From: Vicki Freiberger

This is in regard to your client, Jason Meduna. The pictures I am faxing you, are of the log ‘cross’ that Jason Meduna had at the entrance of his property, to the left side of the road. Soon after the land (3-Strikes Ranch) was listed for sale, the cross was not there. We found the cross up the fence line to the west, thrown onto our land, where we had cows and calves at the time. I told my sons to throw it back over to his side. They did. We found the cross again, thrown over onto our land. When my sons, Justin and Josh, dug out Jason’s auto gate, (because he would not) and our calves were going to walk the auto gate, to lay in the shade of his entrance sign; they also carried the ‘cross’ and set in inside of Jason’s entrance. They did not trespass to do so, as my photos show. The next day, we noticed the ‘cross’ was gone. I looked in our pasture, and did not find it. I drove to the east of Jason’s entrance on our meadow, and up in the corner, I found the ‘cross’ laying in our meadow. Which, please note, he would have had to trespass onto our land, to position it where it lay. We decided to go and get the ‘cross’ and just take it home, so we didn’t have to worry about it anymore. Justin and Josh went to get the ‘cross’ a couple days after that, and could not find it. Which please note; when he came and retrieved the cross from our meadow, he had to trespass again.

We will be moving into this meadow to hay very soon. I do not know where he put the cross now, but I want you to know, that if we hit that ‘cross’ with our swather, (which by the way, it is a new, New Holland swather and this is the first summer we have used it) it will destroy the swather. The grass is tall, and it won’t be seen until it is too late. If we run into it, it will be Jason Meduna’s sole responsibility to replace it. The cost of this swather is $35,000 - $40,000. Jason C. Meduna will be liable for any damage the ‘cross’ causes to our land, our tractor, and our New Holland swather.

For the first time in 30 years of living on this ranch, there was also a gate dropped between our neighbor, Grover Thompson and us. Luckily, no cattle got mixed up. The gate is beside the road that goes to town. After Justin and Josh dug out Jason’s auto gate, it was filled back in, with even more sand than they dug out. There was also the salt and mineral bunk that was drug to the center of our auto gate, which our kids would have run into in the dark. My daughter-in-law is pregnant, what would have happened had they ran into that bunk, and her air-bag deployed? I would appreciate the shenanigans being ended.

Thank you for your time.
Vicki Freiberger

This is also being sent to the Sheriff of Morrill County, and to the Morrill County Attorney.

***
That's why we were watching the ground so close when we came across the Mudna's blair witch project. We have not seen the cross since. Maybe he cut it up.

Thunder In The Clouds

THUNDER IN THE CLOUDS

Remembering the Mustangs of the Sandhills....

Nine months ago, many animals were saved from 3 Strikes Ranch.
Many did not survive.

It was Lonnie Littlehoop's desire, to bring some sort of closure
for the mustangs who did not make it out alive from 3 Strikes.
Through this, they hoped it would also be a healing
and understanding process for the children
that once were involved in a program at the mustang ranch -
a program of love and caring each child
would be able to give to the mustang that was 'assigned' to them.

On January 22, 2010 - Lonnie Littlehoop rode from Alliance to the former
3 Strikes Ranch, once owned and operated by Jason Meduna.
Jen and the kids drove the horse trailer,
Liz Lee and kids followed in her vehichle.

This would be the first Mustang Memorial Ride for the horses.

The ride was open to all,
many were expected to come from neighboring states.
I remember in a planning meeting that Lonnie and Jen had,
Lonnie stated he hoped the weather would be cold, even snowy.
I thought he was crazy!

But his reasoning... was to remember and pay tribute
to what all the horses endured through the winter at 3 Strikes.
Out in the cold, the snow, and the wind.....struggling to survive.
Without food and water at their disposal,
life for the horses would have been hard, painful, and long-suffering.

It was actually fitting that on the first day,
he was the only rider.

I believe for every evil, there is good.
Once upon a time, a person rode his horses
up and down this road to Alliance.

Now, this rider on the horse would bring goodness
to the memory of all the horses that perished -
and bring good memories for the survivors.

Jen, opening the gate for Lonnie...going onto the former 3 Strikes.

Lonnie and Nahpiya

Lonnie said it felt like he was riding through a graveyard.

The journey is over for the day.
Now Nahpiya (which means 'Clouds')
would get to spend the night at
the Nebraska Boys Ranch, with feed, water, and rest.

Tomorrow he would walk back to Alliance from the Boys Ranch,
but with more riders on the 2nd day.
(And the weather was much warmer!)

Jen, Lonnie, and the kids who had 'adopted' horses.

They walked around a now empty corral, where once they came
and worked with their horses. Now they were gone.
Some of the kids do not know if their horse survived.

We are in the process of locating their horses.
Hopefully, they will find that they are now all in loving homes.

We gathered to the center of the corral, forming a circle.
Lonnie led the prayer in his native tongue.
No pictures would be taken.
Being a part of the 'song' for the horses,
was something I will remember forever.
I'm so thankful I was able to be a part of this ceremony.

Thanks to Laura, we all enjoyed yummy hot chocolate afterwards.

Your gift was so thoughtful Laura!!
The day was cold, and the hot chocolate warmed us to the bones.

The painting of the four horses....

was done by Jay Largo

from Jen's vision of the Mustangs in the clouds.

(Jen's brother Jay, is from New Mexico)

The t-shirts are available to purchase. Jen did the screen printing herself.

Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt, I will get you in touch with Jen.

I think they are $15 + shipping.

Watch Out For That Bunk!

On July 3rd, 2009.... before I noticed the filled-back-in auto gate, I found this salt and mineral bunk in the middle of our auto gate...

In the background of the above picture is the entrance to the former 3 Strikes Ranch.
The kids had gone into town after they dug out Meduna's autogate (the 1st time) for the Alliance 4th of July Fireworks Display (on the 3rd). Don and I stayed home, as we were all now accustomed to never leaving the place unattended.

It was towards evening, and with some of our cattle in the bordering pasture to Mudna's, I decided to go check everything out again. As I rounded the corner, there to my surprise was one of our blue plastic tubs we put salt and mineral in for the cattle. We have two pieces of approximately 4'-5' long rebar criss-crossed on the bottom of the tub to prevent cattle from tipping the bunk over. The bunk was about half full, so that means there was around 80 lbs. total of salt and mineral in it. So he drug it from the spot that is about half way between the autogate and his entrance, all the while trespassing. Or should I say, someone drug it.

This picture shows how far the bunk was drug, and was left in the middle of our autogate. What this means is: later that evening, when it was dark...someone probably would have run into the tub on the way back from town. A normal tub, not having rebar sticking out of the sides, may have slid off the autogate, but then stopped when it hit the dirt, and went up under the vehicle. Now this particular bunk, could have very easily got stuck in the pipes of the autogate, and could have done some serious danger when the rebar went up under the vehicle. Driving home that night, in one automobile, were Josh, Josie and my little granddaughter, Cadence....and Justin and Allie (who by the way was very pregnant) - so what could have happened when an air bag went off into Allie?

That is probably why, after I moved the bunk out of the way, I went home and called Mr. Berry (Jason's lawyer) and left a message about it. I was a little upset.

Oh by the way, this is another thing that Jason tried to bring up at my 'harassment case'... was that I was calling HIS lawyer; HARASSING MR. BERRY!!!!

My tape measures, measuring to see just how far he did trespass to do this little job.

Wish I had a dime for every time he's trespassed on us. Or like, a dime a foot....

The Mailbox

Oh, if I only had a picture....

The Medunas moved to Morrill County, the very end of December, 2006. All neighbors gave them a fighting chance to be good neighbors. (without fighting) They were invited to brandings, and whatever neighborhood 'thing' we had. Although we're all so busy with our cattle and kids, there usually isn't too much else that goes on out here.

When Jason was building his grand entrance; the 'old school' rough-cut lumber what-ever-you-want-to-call-it 'foyer' onto 3-Strikes Ranch - we might drive by and notice him 'creating', so we'd stop to say 'hi'. I stopped one day while checking cows (he has to go thru our pasture to get to his entrance - and this was when he first moved here). He talked about having a hassle with the post office. At the present time, he had to get his mail over by Grover's.

Road lesson 101: There is a county road that goes from Alliance, NE - south to Broadwater, NE. We call it the 'Broadwater Road'. When you go from Alliance to our house, you travel on it about 7 miles south of Alliance, that is where Grover lives. Then you drive east; 4 1/2 miles to our house, 3 to Justin's, or about 2 1/2 to the former 3 Strikes. Our mailboxes are by our homes, but 'his' is over by Grovers. Has been for years. So I was actually contacting the post office guy, seeing if we couldn't get the mailbox moved to his turn-off. My point was to the post office, 'our mailboxes are at our house, and at Gilroy's; to the mail person has to come this way anyway, why not let his box be at his house?'
The road going to the left, takes you to our place and to Gilroys (which is the main road). The road you see in the center of the picture, is the turn-off that leads to the former 3 Strikes. (Now it's, 'You're Out').... The little 'Y' in the grass to the left, is where Jason wanted (and did) put his mailbox - which is on our property....but why would that be different that filming on our land and leading people to believe it was his????

Jason put the mailbox at the turn, these are our tracks going back and forth to feed birds.

When Jason and I were discussing the mailbox, I told him I didn't think that would work because when the road grader comes down the road, he is going to wipe it out. Also, when we have cattle in that pasture, they will knock it down - and we don't want any extra stuff (OK, "JUNK") in our pastures. I mentioned to Jason that he could enlarge his entrance-way so the mail person could go onto his property, deliver the mail, then turn around and drive out. It had to be accessible to them from their auto, or they do not have to deliver.

Well, one day while putting out salt and mineral in the pasture, I noticed he had already put up his 'mailbox' on our land. This is what I wish I had a picture of. I called Don on our radio.....it went something like this:

Vic, "Don, Jason has the mailbox put up where the turn is to his place." Don, "It's on our land?" Vic, "Yes, but I don't think it's going to last long, he doesn't have it staked down at all, he's got a bunch of rocks around the bottom of it to hold it up, I guess." Don, "Well, I hate to say this, but you're going to have to go tell him he's going to have to move it. It can't be there..." Vic, "You should see it, he has an old oil lamp hanging off of it, and a bunch of big, faded plastic flowers hanging on it! Wait....you don't have to worry about it, the wind just blew it over."

So that was the mailbox. Now, on August 5th of this year, Jason and Anissa Meduna take me to court to say I'm HARASSING them! They have many points they are trying to nab me with, which I'll get to later, but one of the points was the mailbox!

Courtroom: Mudna, (questioning me - oh yes, he had no lawyer, he represented himself), "What about the mailbox?..." I started to answer. My lawyer objects. I think the judge wanted to hear what I'd have to say..... The judge asks Mudna, 'What does this have to do with harassment?' Mudna, 'Intimidation, your Honor'. Judge, 'Alright, you may answer the question.' So I looked at Mudna and said, 'You must not remember this Jason, but I called the Post Office, trying to get them to move your mailbox closer to your house.' Then I looked at the Judge, and said, 'You see, your Honor, when they moved in, their mailbox is over by Thompson's at the Broadwater Road. That is what we call the main road. He has to travel about 3 miles to get his mail. I called the post office trying to have them move his mailbox closer to his house, onto his property so they don't have to go clear over there to get it. All of our mailboxes are by our houses.' The judge looked at Mudna and said, 'I guess that takes care of the mailbox.'

Mudna tried to speak, but the judge cut him off and said, 'I said, that takes care of the mailbox. Do you have any further questions?'

So there you have it, but not a picture of it. Darn it anyway.

The Kooper Cow

During my blogging, I can guarantee you; nothing will be in order of date! It's just random as it comes to mind, or I should say - as it gets written. My mind is full of memories and thoughts of the 3 years of the Medunas being our neighbors. They moved in December 29, 2006. While Koopers still lived there and owned the place; he unloaded a semi full of mustangs. That was the beginning of the end.

But I'm getting off track. There was a cow left on the place when Koopers moved. To make a long story short, Koopers thought she was going to be put down because she was lame, missing a back foot and it wasn't worth it to load her up and take her to the sale barn. In the confussion of the sale, and Glen's health - the cow was left at the disposal of Meduna.

Wherever this ole' girl had been, we noticed her on Jason's meadow which borders us, in February of '09. I do need to back up here, when Koopers moved to town, there were some other cows left also, as on his web site, Jason claimed they were used to train the mustangs! (whatever) The cow was out of sight, but back now and then. I am sure she heard our tractor feeding cattle, and knew what she wished she had. I think that's why she ended up on the north side of 3 Strikes, longing for feed from a tractor. (By now, the other cows that were on Meduna's were either sold or dead) It was cold, no feed in sight.

Ah yes, Jason's web site, the 3 Strike Mustang Ranch. At one point, he claimed there were cows there, used in training the mustangs; and then he stated at another point - that there were no cows on the ranch. (maybe because that was BLM rules?)
Picture taken March 7, 2009

I saw her almost every day by the fence. I was feeling so bad, wondering if she wanted in to our meadow. Then she just disappeared. We watched for her, but she was no where in sight. I couldn't imagine her walking back to the south end, unless she was in search of water. Then one day, as I was checking our cows in a bordering pasture, there she was; along with the reason for not seeing just skin and bones before. She had a calf at her side. It was unbelievable. That explained the tummy, but when I look back at the pictures, thinking that she was probably full term - it seemed unreal that there was a baby calf inside her, waiting for it's entrance into a cold, new world. Now, the cow looked undernurished. There was little milk in her bag. How would the baby survive? But oh she loved her little calf. Eventually they made their way back along the fence to the west, back to the meadow. With snow and rain, the meadow would provide water puddles for them to drink. The grass, hopefully, would grow. Enough at least, for the cow to have food.

Can you imagine what a tough 'ole cow this is? Look at what she had on the land for choice of grazing. What a good mommy she is.

I called Lucille (former owner and friend) and told her the old cow had a calf! She hadn't know that the cow was even alive. Though legal works, it was rightfully Lucille's, but Jason would not allow anyone on the property, so how could we get her? Even when the horse seizure took place, the cow and calf remained at our fenceline. The seizure was only for horses, the cow and calf not included. A woman I met from HSUS, said she could get the pair and have them removed. Probably even get it for an adoption process to us, until the owner (Lucille) could get them, or say what to do. The problem: no one could get on the property. So I said let's wait, and not draw attention to the cow and calf. I didn't want anything to happen to them. I watched them everyday, the grass started growing and this year we had abundant rains. So for right now, the cow was ok. As time went, the horses were gone. I was afraid something would happen to the calf.
May 12, 2009 Still on 3 Strikes property. Water puddles started to dry up.
Finally the time was right, the cow and calf were directly in front of a gate that went onto our property. Lucille had proof of ownership to both the cow and calf. Without trespassing, the gate was dropped, and the cow walked right in with her calf following. It didn't take long, she gained weight, looked good. It was still hard for her to get around but she was with other cows and her little bull calf was doing well. She now was fed 'cake' and had plenty of grass and water.

July 26, 2009 - Baby bull (KOOPER) and Kooper cow (with new friends in the background)

One of our heifers that hung around alot with the Kooper cow.
Notice her body condition now, amazing what a little water and some feed will do.

KOOPER, July 26, 2009

KOOPER, July 31, 2009
